In 2003, Furry Friends Spa and Daycare, formerly known as Dawn of a New Day, opened its doors – a testament to your unwavering support and the profound belief that our beloved companions deserve a life filled with comfort and care.

In November 2014, we embarked on a new chapter by relocating to Hawthorne Avenue, near the picturesque Rideau Canal. This move marked the evolution of our space, as we introduced a modern grooming salon and introduced a doggy daycare and cat boarding services . This transformation also saw us invest in state-of-the-art equipment, equipping our salon with some of the industry's finest tools.

In the journey of pampering your pet, our grooming assistants take on an indispensable role. Their expertise encompasses the soothing baths, complete with gentle massages, and the meticulous hand-drying process that your beloved companion deserves. Many of our assistants have honed their craft through specialized training, either through the esteemed Grooming Assistant Program at Algonquin College or exclusive seminars conducted by animal behavior experts. We take immense pride in the valuable contributions these dedicated individuals bring to our professional team.

All members of our team are always looking to further their skills and preparing for their next level of certification. The certification process is important to us, being certified means we have been tested and evaluated by our peers and have met a high quality standard within the industry.
