Chantal is an Honours Graduate from the Dawn of a New Day Academy in 2006. She obtained the title of certified master groomer with IPG (International Certified Groomers) and CPPS (Canadian Professionnal Pet Stylists) in 2015. As a lifetime member of the International Society of Canine Cosmetologists, she holds a high standard of quality in the salon. Through the years, she has developed a cat grooming service, and went to South Carolina to become a certified feline master groomer with NCCIA (National Cat Groomers institute of America). She has also been an instructor of the grooming assistant program at Algonquin College.

 Prior to grooming, Chantal worked as a licensed physiotherapist for 20 years. She now combines her love for animals with her experience in physical care. Chantal is passionate about grooming, especially with terriers, and specialized in hand stripping wire hair coats. 

She shares her life with her Chihuahua Big Ben, mini wirehaired dachshund Picottine, Cairn terrier Frimousse,  Yorkshire mix Gaston, Bichon Mimi LePooPoo and hound mix Birch that she found attached to a tree a few years ago.
